The Under Veil Project
Supporting members of the LGBTQI+ community who still struggle with stigma and isolation from family and the wider community.
Let’s make a difference, together.
Every person should be able to live freely regardless of sex, gender or sexual preference. Under Veil is here to provide social support to individuals in vulnerable and dangerous situations. Further providing educational and insightful workshops to bridge the gap within the community.
How can you make a difference?
We are always recruiting empathetic volunteers for our Under Veil Project. You will be supporting individuals from the LGBTQI+ and BAME community who suffer from societal and family pressure, face discrimination, hatred and violence and who are conditioned to feel shame. We need people who can provide a listening ear within a niche community through email, text or call and in person at our in-office events. Furthermore, we are looking for organised people who are good communicators and want to make a positive difference to the lives and mental wellbeing of our beneficiaries on a day-to-day basis.
